  Although I find the part prices to fluctuate and vary between O'Reilly's and AutoZone (they are right next door to each other, in Shallotte, based upon what part I'm buying (so I always check them both) I find the AutoZone tool rental program to be phenomenal. For instance I had to take change the rear brakes on my car and I needed the special tool to allow me to screw the brake caliper back in. So instead of having to go out and buy one, AutoZone had it and they rent the tool for free. Of course you put the deposit down, but then you get the full deposit back when you bring the tool back, so it was so super helpful. The difference in brake pads themselves, between O'Reilly's and AutoZone, was about $12 in favor of O'Reilly's so I bought those there. The rotors were exactly the same price at both stores but the tool rental program helped me make the easy decision to get them from AutoZone
